British Educational Research Journal
Examines three creative approaches to negotiating informed consent with children under six, drawing on four research projects. The paper considers how creative methods can support young children to engage in dialogue and make decisions about research participation, while emphasising the need for approaches appropriate to children’s capabilities and for consent to be continually negotiated throughout the research process.
