Our approach to special interest groups and community

Inclusive, collaborative and member-led

REA creates welcoming spaces for researchers, students, practitioners and others to connect, share perspectives and explore research ethics together. Our Special Interest Groups are shaped by the interests and expertise of members, with an emphasis on openness, respectful discussion and opportunities to develop shared activity.

Active networks for shared learning and activity

We support communities that can develop over time rather than existing only around individual events. By bringing people together around shared interests, SIGs can generate discussion, events, resources and collaboration while ensuring that REA's work reflects a broad range of disciplines, experiences and perspectives.
